Escherichia coli (E.coli) is a common bacteria spread by animals and humans. E.coli can live in water where it might affect people through human/water contact.
Agri Tec’s™ control of E.coli bacteria was tested by NSF according to accepted EPA protocol. These test revealed that significant log reductions of E.coli colonies occurred within minutes of the application of Agri Tec™ and continued for several days into the test.
Agri Tec™ was also tested as a vegetable wash on harvested vegetables by the NSF. These tests revealed that Agri Tec™ had a significant impact on the level of bacterial growth on lettuce after only a two second treatment. This positive impact continued for the entire 15 day length of the test.
This recent testing by NSF shows that Agri Tec™ begins to destroy E.coli and other bacteria within the first 10 minutes after Agri Tec™ has been injected into bacteria contaminated water.
